What You’ll Do

As a Java Developer on our team, you will:

• Design and build RESTful APIs in Java to support web applications and integrations with our partners.

• Work with an agile team to deliver solutions that meet real business needs.

• Write clean, testable code using TDD, JUnit, Postman, and Swagger.

• Improve performance by diagnosing and fixing issues across all layers of the system.

• Collaborate on architecture and design to build reliable and scalable features.

• Integrate applications securely using SSO, SAML, SOAP, and API gateways.

• Participate in code reviews and share knowledge with the team.

What We’re Looking For

To be successful in this role, you should have:

• 6+ years of software development experience with Java (and at least 2 years with REST APIs).

• Strong knowledge of Spring Boot or Spring MVC frameworks.

• Experience with database design and SQL queries (Oracle or similar RDBMS).

• Familiarity with tools like Eclipse, Git/Github, Jenkins, Maven, WebSphere.

• Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming principles.

• Knowledge of API security and experience with API Gateways (such as Tyk).

• A mindset for continuous improvement in products, processes, and your own skills.
